Samporna Sari Beauty & Spa @Kota Damansara

Im all for traditional spas, specifically South East Asian ones like Thai, Balinese, Malay, etc. You won't see me going in slimming centres and such like all those SUPER expensive ones that just want to sell their products, no-oh. I was browsing Groupon one day and found a head to toe spa package for a cheap price, only RM 64 instead of RM 204 for 2 hours and 15 minutes and location (Kota Damansara)  was the plus point! I didn't hestitate to click the Buy Now button. Location is the first thing I look for in Groupon. I will only take the ones near TTDI like Bandar Utama, Damansara, Bangsar, Kelana Jaya. haha. What about you? Does location matter to you when purchasing a Groupon? :) So I booked my session on one fine morning and left 45 minutes prior, though my house is like 10 minutes away because I wasn't sure of the location, not so pro with the KD shoplots. I was looking for their signage "Samporna Sari Beauty & Spa". The spa is located at The Strand,

Posh! Nail Spa @TTDI

My nails needed some major treatment. My cuticles were dry and my toenails and cracked heels were just too... uhmm (too embarassed to say! *wink*). This definitely called for a manicure and pedicure session at the nearest nail spa. No need Bangsar, no need One Utama or The Curve though these places are near too, Im thankful to live in an area where awesome nail spas are just around the corner! I chose to get my treatment at Posh! Nail Spa in TTDI, in the morning at 11am and on a weekday. Weeehoooo. Why weekday? Because  I quit my job, that's why. We'll story that in another post? :) Anyway, this was my second trip to Posh! because the last time I was here, which was about a year ago, I had a great service and my nails were well done. I was greeted by a sweet lady who smiled and opened the door for me. AAhhhh..what a great way to start your morning, isn't it? Really people, a smile makes a big difference to someone's day! I love the entrance! It's like a mi

Review: L'erbolario Eye Cream

Hi everyone! It's been awhile since the last I did review on beauty products. I've always had problems with my underye. It's always dry, and when I put on concealer to cover the dark circles and eyebags, it will get flaky at the end of the day. I tried countless of eye treatment products but still no changes. I asked a makeup expert if it's the way I put on concealer that it's not right or what? She said it's my super dry undereyes. Even when she touched my undereye, she said she could feel that it's really dry. So one day, I stumbled upon a cosmetic store from Italy called L'erbolario in One Utama. I was told that this brand has been in Malaysia many years ago but their first outlet is in Bangsar Village and OU is the latest branch. Got consulted by the sales assistant there, and she gave me some eye cream samples to try out for 2 weeks to see if it worked for me. It's amazing how the people here don't try to sell you things, so they give you

Jari Spa @Solaris Dutamas

Hi everyone! Last weekend, Leen and I booked ourselves at Jari Spa for a facial and body scrub. I've never done facial before, so I was a bit nervous of what was going to happen. My skin is actually quite sensitive, if the products used are not suitable, my face will itch and breakouts all over for a few weeks :( That's why I've been so afraid to do facial. But I need to do it. Belum try, belum tau kan!  Jari Spa is located in Solaris Dutamas. Solaris Dutamas is still kind of new, so there are still not many people, and a few stores. But they do have a lot of restaurants, pubs, and beauty centres.  One thing about Solaris Dutamas, you have to know where you want to go so that you can find the nearest parking space. If not, you're going to waste a lot of time looking for your destination. And you have to know your destination and remember the blocks!  We took the couple room because well we wanted to do it together. It would be more fun!

The Love Nails, e@Curve

Hi everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was packed with pampering sessions and catching-up with my bestie, Leen. Leen has been so caught up with work so she needed the weekend to let herself out. Since im still on my holidays, bumming around, why not join her for the weekend!  We were in dire need of some nail fixing. My nails looked horrible, so dry, and looked every unhealthy. I kid you not, all the manicure shops are FULL, well because it was the weekend. After going round and round from The Curve, to Ikano, to e@Curve, finally one was available. Actually we passed it at first but it was full before, then after lunch, we checked it out again and it was available! Yippeeee!  The Love Nails is located next to the elevator going up to the cinema, next to Skin Food. I think that's the best I can give you for directions. Super easy! This was my second visit to The Love Nails and I must say, I really love their service. Friendly manicurists, affordable compared to others, an

Embun Day Spa @Plaza Mont Kiara

Hi everyone!  Sorry for being away! I was too busy hanging out with my girlfriends, especially with Syu, my best friend since I was 7. She's here in KL right now, came back for summer holidays but will leave again to Melbourne in a couple of days :( We managed to go shopping, eating out here and there, lazing around, and had pampering sessions for ourselves. Our choice of the month is Embun Day Spa , located in Plaza Mont Kiara. Honestly, I've never been to Plaza Mont Kiara, but passed it a thousand times. I've heard of this spa when I was asking around and googling what are some of the best spas here in KL. One day as I was walking on Jalan Telawi, Bangsar, a man approached me with a huge pamphlet in his hand. My first thought 'Oh no..he's gonna sell stuff..ahhh..'. Usually, I would just say Im not interested or Im in a rush. But then he told me he was selling spa vouchers. I stopped walking and turned to look at him with a huge smile on my face! SPA VOU
