Posh! Nail Spa Launch Party @SS2

Earlier last month, I attended the launch party of my favourite mani-pedi spa, Posh! Nail Spa (click HERE for my review of the spa). It was the launching of their second outlet located in SS2.

The moment I stepped in, it was everything how I want my bridal shower/bachelorette party (If im EVER going to have one!) to be. Purple and pink everywhere. So chic and girly. I like! I shall take note!

Posh! Nail Spa is more than your average nail spa. It provides other beauty services such as facial, waxing, and eyelash extension.

What's a nail spa party without pampering session, right? The highlight of the event was definitely the mani session. Guests were entitled to have a quick manicure for FREE!! But while waiting for my turn, my eyes were glued to the food table. It was lunchtime and I haven't had my lunch. ATTACK! Mini cupcakes and many types of pastries were served for the tummy :)

I invited my friends who are fellow bloggers too, Joanna and Haneesa because I know they love beauty and pampering events like this. Joanna is a beauty&lifestyle blogger and Haneesa's blog focuses on travelling and she is also a contributor at The Awesome Project.  Check them out, yea!

Soon it was our turn for the quick manicure session! Yippee!

I opted for a soft baby pink for nails. You know I can't resist pink! What do you think? This colour reminds me of cotton candy.

Besides manicure, they had lucky draws and quizzes that really excite the guests because they were giving out many fun prizes. I think everyone went home with goodies in their hands. That was very nice of Posh!

On that note, I guess it was my lucky day. I won a prize from the lucky draw! A water tumbler from Polar Bear. It's BPA free plastic water bottle that keeps your drink cold even on a super hot day.

After getting our nails done, we hung around to explore the spa, and I found these!
One of my favourite collections from O.P.I. that I still haven't got my hands on yet!

 The SkyFall collection!

Posh! is also selling O.P.I's Pink of Hearts 2012 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

The gorgeous Belinda Chee who was the host of the event and a regular customer of Posh! as well :) I realized my outfit suit the colour theme. Another lucky point.

With the owner of Posh! Nail Spa, Sereen Ng, whose husband happened to be Haneesa's ex-boss when she worked in an art center last year. Small world!

It was a successful launch eventhough it was not big, but more to a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Since we RSVP early, we got ourselves some goodie bags containing vouchers of their services and other brands, a nail file, body lotion from O.P.I. and a BB cream from Maybelline which I use on a daily basis. Yay!

CONGRATULATIONS Posh! Nail Spa on the opening of your second outlet. All the best!

Posh! Nail Spa @TTDI

My nails needed some major treatment. My cuticles were dry and my toenails and cracked heels were just too... uhmm (too embarassed to say! *wink*). This definitely called for a manicure and pedicure session at the nearest nail spa. No need Bangsar, no need One Utama or The Curve though these places are near too, Im thankful to live in an area where awesome nail spas are just around the corner! I chose to get my treatment at Posh! Nail Spa in TTDI, in the morning at 11am and on a weekday. Weeehoooo. Why weekday? Because  I quit my job, that's why. We'll story that in another post? :) Anyway, this was my second trip to Posh! because the last time I was here, which was about a year ago, I had a great service and my nails were well done. I was greeted by a sweet lady who smiled and opened the door for me. AAhhhh..what a great way to start your morning, isn't it? Really people, a smile makes a big difference to someone's day! I love the entrance! It's like a mi...

Review: L'erbolario Eye Cream

Hi everyone! It's been awhile since the last I did review on beauty products. I've always had problems with my underye. It's always dry, and when I put on concealer to cover the dark circles and eyebags, it will get flaky at the end of the day. I tried countless of eye treatment products but still no changes. I asked a makeup expert if it's the way I put on concealer that it's not right or what? She said it's my super dry undereyes. Even when she touched my undereye, she said she could feel that it's really dry. So one day, I stumbled upon a cosmetic store from Italy called L'erbolario in One Utama. I was told that this brand has been in Malaysia many years ago but their first outlet is in Bangsar Village and OU is the latest branch. Got consulted by the sales assistant there, and she gave me some eye cream samples to try out for 2 weeks to see if it worked for me. It's amazing how the people here don't try to sell you things, so they give you ...

Koji Dolly Wink Workshop with Bloggers

Salam and hello everyone! Sorry I know I've been missing for awhile..was pretty busy with sister's wedding events, family gatherings, etc. But hey I'm back and I want to share with you this super kawaiii beauty workshop with bloggers which I attended earlier this month. Thanks so much to The Butterfly Project for extending the invitation to me! If you're familiar with asian makeup brands, I'm sure you have heard of Koji that produced Dolly Wink! Yes, that brand that only focuses to 'wow' our eyes! The workshop was conducted in a private area at Little Pantry in IOI Mall. My first impression when I stepped into the workshop "Omg. I want to wake up every morning with my room looking like this and all these kawaii makeup around me!!!" . Everything was colourful and girly, which I love! I'm a sucker for cute packaging so let's see some pics. Here's a brief story on Koji. Koji is one of Japan's leading makeup brand, fam...
