Review: Yes! Nurse Hand Cream

Salam and hey everyone! As a part-time cikgu, there are tons of paperwork to do, cutting, pasting, stamping, marking and this requires a lot of hand washing because you know kids, they sneeze and cough, etc..and often I get papercuts and rough skins..also working on my laptop everyday affect my hands, especially my wrists. Thanks to Hishop Malaysia, I was introduced to an awesome hand cream that really works to recover my rough skin.

Caution: SUPER CUTE PACKAGING!

Introducing Yes! Nurse hand cream Protect Your Lovely Hands (50ml) , founded by a skin-care specialist and a nurse, from United Kingdom who were looking for the perfect aid to help other nurses with rough hands. Having to work with tools, machines, chemicals, and people, they wash their hands often for hygiene purposes. They knew they needed something to cure their rough skin.

WOULD YOU LOOK AT THE PACKAGING? Isn't it cute and to die for? Gawd..Im a sucker for cute packaging like this! These are the first things I see when I open the package..

This is perhaps one of the most creative beauty product packaging I've ever seen. I like the labels above..it explains why nurses are awesome and special!

TADAAAA.. come to mama!

There is an ingredient/product guide too with super cute illustrations!

So what's inside this hand cream?

The ingredients are divided into 3 categories of function:

  • To heal  - Active+15 Manuka Honey
  • To hydrate and protect - Wheat Germ Oil, Passion Fruit Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Pomegranate Seed Oil
  • To soothe (for vitamin B5 & vitamin E) - Willow Bark Extract, Aloe Leaf Extract

The size is very handy, fits perfectly in your handbag, not too big, not bulky. Application is easy, I prefer tube like this with caps so when you squeeze it, you don't go overboard.

This is a fast-absorbing hand cream as well as none greasy and none watery. It doesn't leave that wet feeling after applying. It absorbs and sinks in really quick, which is great especially if you want to shake hands and continue doing your work..you don't have to wait for long. The scent is mild. I could sense honey and almond! Yum yum.. The scent is relaxing too! Love it. *Im actually rubbing my hands now because it's so soft!! hehe* You are advised to use this 3 times a day; before, during and after work, to get optimum results! You could actually feel the difference on your skin even after the first application! My hands are moisturized and hydrated!

This girl is happy because her hands are soft!

Posh! Nail Spa @TTDI

My nails needed some major treatment. My cuticles were dry and my toenails and cracked heels were just too... uhmm (too embarassed to say! *wink*). This definitely called for a manicure and pedicure session at the nearest nail spa. No need Bangsar, no need One Utama or The Curve though these places are near too, Im thankful to live in an area where awesome nail spas are just around the corner! I chose to get my treatment at Posh! Nail Spa in TTDI, in the morning at 11am and on a weekday. Weeehoooo. Why weekday? Because  I quit my job, that's why. We'll story that in another post? :) Anyway, this was my second trip to Posh! because the last time I was here, which was about a year ago, I had a great service and my nails were well done. I was greeted by a sweet lady who smiled and opened the door for me. AAhhhh..what a great way to start your morning, isn't it? Really people, a smile makes a big difference to someone's day! I love the entrance! It's like a mi...

Review: L'erbolario Eye Cream

Hi everyone! It's been awhile since the last I did review on beauty products. I've always had problems with my underye. It's always dry, and when I put on concealer to cover the dark circles and eyebags, it will get flaky at the end of the day. I tried countless of eye treatment products but still no changes. I asked a makeup expert if it's the way I put on concealer that it's not right or what? She said it's my super dry undereyes. Even when she touched my undereye, she said she could feel that it's really dry. So one day, I stumbled upon a cosmetic store from Italy called L'erbolario in One Utama. I was told that this brand has been in Malaysia many years ago but their first outlet is in Bangsar Village and OU is the latest branch. Got consulted by the sales assistant there, and she gave me some eye cream samples to try out for 2 weeks to see if it worked for me. It's amazing how the people here don't try to sell you things, so they give you ...

Koji Dolly Wink Workshop with Bloggers

Salam and hello everyone! Sorry I know I've been missing for awhile..was pretty busy with sister's wedding events, family gatherings, etc. But hey I'm back and I want to share with you this super kawaiii beauty workshop with bloggers which I attended earlier this month. Thanks so much to The Butterfly Project for extending the invitation to me! If you're familiar with asian makeup brands, I'm sure you have heard of Koji that produced Dolly Wink! Yes, that brand that only focuses to 'wow' our eyes! The workshop was conducted in a private area at Little Pantry in IOI Mall. My first impression when I stepped into the workshop "Omg. I want to wake up every morning with my room looking like this and all these kawaii makeup around me!!!" . Everything was colourful and girly, which I love! I'm a sucker for cute packaging so let's see some pics. Here's a brief story on Koji. Koji is one of Japan's leading makeup brand, fam...
