Le Ann Maxima Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

"Secret Garden: a Summer Hiatus for the Socialite" is the theme for Le Ann Maxima's Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Imagine wearing colourful dresses in lush green settings of a secret garden.. beautiful, right?

The collection was launched on 25 April at The Scot's in Jaya One. Thank you Alex from Le Ann Maxima for having me, and thank you to Butterfly Project for letting bloggers know about this fashion show! :) The venue is just perfect and cozy to host such event. I may come back to The Scot's again!

This collection focuses on the beauty of pastels that complement the season. Pastel colours like Sea Foam Green, Lemon, Lilac and Salmon are chosen to create this collection. Accompanied with Monochrome tones of Ink Black, Ivory and Cool Grey, the collection is a mixture of elegance and fun with pattern prints of Abstract Floral, Psychedelic collage as well as Geometric.

I can't take my eyes off that baby blue pants!

With the rising trend of colour blocking, Le Ann Maxima adds collage effect to complete the line. The key embellishments of this season's collection are frills. There were dresses of 60's retro designs too!

Which one do you like most?

Witnessing these beautiful pieces remind me of fairy tale story settings; garden full of beautiful flowers. This collection can be worn for formal or casual event, or even your everyday wear. The soft colours and universal design are easy to mix and match. I really like this collection, especially the colourful dresses and pants!

Posh! Nail Spa @TTDI

My nails needed some major treatment. My cuticles were dry and my toenails and cracked heels were just too... uhmm (too embarassed to say! *wink*). This definitely called for a manicure and pedicure session at the nearest nail spa. No need Bangsar, no need One Utama or The Curve though these places are near too, Im thankful to live in an area where awesome nail spas are just around the corner! I chose to get my treatment at Posh! Nail Spa in TTDI, in the morning at 11am and on a weekday. Weeehoooo. Why weekday? Because  I quit my job, that's why. We'll story that in another post? :) Anyway, this was my second trip to Posh! because the last time I was here, which was about a year ago, I had a great service and my nails were well done. I was greeted by a sweet lady who smiled and opened the door for me. AAhhhh..what a great way to start your morning, isn't it? Really people, a smile makes a big difference to someone's day! I love the entrance! It's like a mi...

Review: L'erbolario Eye Cream

Hi everyone! It's been awhile since the last I did review on beauty products. I've always had problems with my underye. It's always dry, and when I put on concealer to cover the dark circles and eyebags, it will get flaky at the end of the day. I tried countless of eye treatment products but still no changes. I asked a makeup expert if it's the way I put on concealer that it's not right or what? She said it's my super dry undereyes. Even when she touched my undereye, she said she could feel that it's really dry. So one day, I stumbled upon a cosmetic store from Italy called L'erbolario in One Utama. I was told that this brand has been in Malaysia many years ago but their first outlet is in Bangsar Village and OU is the latest branch. Got consulted by the sales assistant there, and she gave me some eye cream samples to try out for 2 weeks to see if it worked for me. It's amazing how the people here don't try to sell you things, so they give you ...

Koji Dolly Wink Workshop with Bloggers

Salam and hello everyone! Sorry I know I've been missing for awhile..was pretty busy with sister's wedding events, family gatherings, etc. But hey I'm back and I want to share with you this super kawaiii beauty workshop with bloggers which I attended earlier this month. Thanks so much to The Butterfly Project for extending the invitation to me! If you're familiar with asian makeup brands, I'm sure you have heard of Koji that produced Dolly Wink! Yes, that brand that only focuses to 'wow' our eyes! The workshop was conducted in a private area at Little Pantry in IOI Mall. My first impression when I stepped into the workshop "Omg. I want to wake up every morning with my room looking like this and all these kawaii makeup around me!!!" . Everything was colourful and girly, which I love! I'm a sucker for cute packaging so let's see some pics. Here's a brief story on Koji. Koji is one of Japan's leading makeup brand, fam...
